I've 4 years' experience in running and maintaining Game Servers. This guide is also very basic, giving the very basics to run a dedicated server, there is much more required to make these servers secure and tuned to run well. You are free to use your own methods if you prefer. There are many other ways to do things, so you may disagree with some of my methods.
